When driving into Florida on I-95 the first place you encounter is Jacksonville, as you drive past Downtown Jacksonville you’ll notice the Blue Bridge, as its known locally. The downtown area around Jacksonville Landing is a great place to spend the weekend, you can use the water taxis that cross the St. Johns River, enjoy the great view and plenty of dining and entertainment options.

Jacksonville Beach is another exciting option of a place to spend the weekend. The Jacksonville Pier offers the best fishing in the area and its local dining and party venues make for a great getaway.
