Daytona Beach, FL – Biketoberfest 2009 has come and gone and a good time was had by all. The Dog House was rockin with girls dancing on the bar, Full Moon was full of people listening to live music, Dirty Harry’s had girls, girls, girls in booths and on stage in wet t-shirt contests all weekend. Saturday night we went to the Jam For America where the headliner was Charlie Daniels Band, what a show they rocked the place. Chuck Wicks, who was recently on Dancing With the Stars, performed as did a fairly new group, the Lost Trailers. Once again Daytona Beach was a great host and Biketoberfest, was a blast.

Its time for Florida’s best Fall celebration, Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach. Take Oktoberfest, Bikes and Beautiful Girls, throw em all together and what you have is Biketoberfest. This years events are better than ever, every year the crowds get bigger and the music is gets better. Charlie Daniels Band is scheduled to perform in Edgewater, just off I-95 south of Daytona.

Florida loves to celebrate and what could be better than Oktoberfest, a festival celebrating beer, food and music. The tradition of Oktoberfest began when back in October of 1810 when Prince Ludwig of Bavaria married Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. The Oktoberfest was a celebration of this union and in 1835 the first parade took place, Oktoberfest has since grown into the Largest People’s Fair in the World.

One of the most popular venues Dirty Harry’s, was at the center of the Biketoberfest action as Daytona Beach celebrated the annual events.

You don’t need to fly to Munich to enjoy Oktoberfest in Florida, Florida loves Oktoberfest as much as Florida loves beer and great German food. Floridians also love a party and there are many taking place.
Oktoberfest is a celebration of beer and food, though the history of Oktoberfest began with the marriage of Prince Ludwig and his bride Therese of Bavaria October 12, 1810. To honor the marriage a parade took place for the first time in 1835. Oktoberfest is now known as the Largest People’s Fair in the World.
