Scary, FL – The warm breezes of summer are giving way to northeast winds howling down the beach. All of this can only mean one thing – Autumn is coming to Florida. As October arrives, its time to pull out all the spooky stops to celebrate Halloween and all the wonderful events. From Panama City Beach to Key West we have anything and everything, like neighborhood “spooktaculars” to a Boo at your local Zoo and the many theme park events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween for the little ones or Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights which will shock the older ones. Key Kest, Florida Keys – Fearsome fanged vampires, wicket vixens and villains of all sorts are expected to prowl the streets of Key West Friday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Nov. 1, during the island city’s annual Fantasy Fest celebration.
This year themed “Villains, Vixens and Vampires,” Fantasy Fest offers 10 days of masquerade balls, quirky costume contests and other delights climaxing in a glittering grand parade set for Halloween night.
