2009 Daytona Bike Week Events
February 22nd, 2009Daytona Beach, FL – Bike Week may draw a half million or more bikers in 2009 with events on Main Street at bars like Dirty Harry’s and Boot Hill Saloon. Main Street bars will feature Live Music, Wet T-shirt Babes and tons of bikes. Outside of Daytona, The Cabbage Patch will feature its World Famous Cole Slaw Wrestling, Live Music and much more. Bike Week runs Feb 27 to Mar 8.
Bike Week Events on Main Street
Dirty Harry’s is the home of Wet T-Shirt Contests daily at 2 pm, 3:30 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm. Live performers include KGB, Lick and Crashrocket. The Wild Turkey Girls are also scheduled to appear. More at www.dirtyharrysdaytona.com
Boot Hill Saloon will feature live music by AC/DC Highway To Hell, Motley Crue Tribute Show! , Dixie Rex , Dave Kelly Band and more. Southern Rocks Finest with members of Skynyrd, Hatchet, Outlaws and others. Other events include arm wrestling, iron man contest, Best Buns, hottest bikini and Suds and Studs. Bike Week Events Around Daytona
Destination Daytona in nearby Ormond Beach will feature a performance by Greg Allman scheduled for Feb 28. Brian Howe, former lead singer of Bad Company is scheduled to perform Mar 4. Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona also features hundreds of vendors, Bike Week Bikini Contest, live music and drink specials. More at www.destinationdaytona.com
Cabbage Patch is preferred by many bikers as it’s located outside the Daytona Beach city limits, so things get much wilder than on Main Street. The party starts Friday the events continue all week with Bike Games, T-Back Pull, Bikini Contests, Wet T-Shirt Contests, Live Music and Hot Buns Contests. The Cole Slaw Wrestling will be Wednesday, Mar 4 and Saturday, Mar 7 at noon.

Classic Movie Easy Rider at Athens Theatre
