Grant, FL – The 43nd Annual Grant Seafood Festival has become the largest and longest running seafood festival in the Southeast and draws huge crowd every year with as many as 50,000 people for this two day event.
This year’s festival will be held February 28 – March 1, 2008 from 10 am - 7 pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am - 5 pm. The festival features free admission, free parking, over 100 craft exhibits, continuous live entertainment, along with a menu of delicious seafood.
Some of the items offered this year include Fried Shrimp, Steamed Clams, Shrimp & Tuna Kabobs, both Manhattan & New England Clam Chowder, Raw & Steamed Oysters, Linguini W/ Clam Sauce and Lobster Bisque. There’s also land lovers items like Hamburgers and Hot Dogs.
Proceeds from the Seafood Festival benefits local causes like the Grant Scholarship Fund, Grant Library and the Grant Historical House.
