Cocoa Beach Host Florida H.O.G. Rally Oct 22-25

Cocoa Beach, FL – Polish those pipes and rev up those engines it time again for the 2008 Florida State H.O.G., Harley Owners Group, Rally. This year’s event will be held Wed.Oct. 22- Sat. Oct.25, events have been planned from 8:00am-9:00pm everyday, with some nights running later. Some things you won’t want to miss are the tattoo contest, drill teams, and bike skill games, there will also be a bike show at Ron Jon surf shop.

The fun starts on Wednesday at the Hilton Oceanfront with self-guided tours and an Early Bird Party at 5:00pm on the Sun Cruz Casino Ship. Thursday there will be bike games, another Early Bird Party and live bands at the Tiki Bar Stage. Friday the bike games continue along with a bike show and Motorpro USA demonstration, the Orlando Drill Team will perform as will several bands in different venues. Saturday morning the big event will be a Parade of Harleys in the morning, a pumpkin carving, which will be judged later in the afternoon, after that the Bike Show Judging at noon. The Tattoo Contest will take place in the early afternoon and bike games continue and bands play throughout the day.
 
While here be sure to check out the rest of Cocoa Beach there is much to do in and around the area. Some events are already scheduled to take place the the Cocoa Beach Pier, they also have many clothes and souvenir shops and restaurants to see, as well as miles of beach and you can fish off the pier. You can also visit Kennedy Space Center, go kayaking, or take an air boat ride.
