Space Shuttle Atlantis Begins Eleven Day Mission to ISS

Cape Canaveral, FL – Space shuttle Atlantis and its crew of seven astronauts launched today 2:45 pm on spectacular plumes of gold-tipped smoke carrying Europe’s primary contribution to the International Space Station – the Columbus science laboratory.
