Six injured at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Six people have been injured on the Kali River Rapids ride at Animal Kingdom and the ride has been closed pending an investigation. The ride was designed to simulate river rapids through the rain forrest. According to news reports a Disney spokesman said, “Nothing like this has ever happened,” and added that “the injuries aren’t life-threatening.” Eye witnesses said the riders were just shaken up but were taken to the hospital out of precaution.
